Every player have their own style on the tour. However, some players can’t stop themselves from imitating and impersonating other players which is often really funny. Novak Djokovic and Andy Roddick leads the pack in impersonating others. Other players such as Maria Sharapova, Robby Ginepri, Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras are also not too shy about impersonating one another mostly in exhibition matches.
Sometimes, the impersonation happens during an important match such as Soderling imitating Nadal’s habit of picking his shorts in Wimbledon and it is likely to turn out to be frustrating for the other player. Andy Roddick is also not very shy when he is frustrated and can go as far as imitating the umpire to make a point.
Or sometimes, things can get personal as it did in “Hit for Haiti” match between Federer – Sampras and Agassi – Nadal. Agassi, having already mentioned in his book “Open” that Pete Sampras is a little tight when it comes to tipping, says it out laud in an exhibition match while impersonating Pete Sampras.
